hey,
i was wondering whether we should use ventrilo for guild raids?
it would make giving commands and explaining boss strategies way easier.
i know that there is a vent-server provided by wowscape. probably we can make use of that.

I have use vent before and i say yes its tons helpfull and helps us comunicate much better

We discussed this one time before. At that time the wowscape vent server wasn't making any more guild channels. It would be ideal if someone can get us a channel or our own vent server.

btw, these are the requirements for our own guild channel:

- Must should at least 200 players (not characters)
- Must be an active guild
- Must be respectable
- Must prove to Vent that you will have 5+ players in vent at any time.

First, I want to focus on getting the forums to be used by all the members. Really, the forums need to be very active and used by all the level 70s for raid scheduling etc. Then we'll get a vent server,

Hmm depends how many people we would have in vent at one time. I might be able to host a vent server myself. Give me an idea and might be able to not use a public vent server.

In the meantime we CAN use the Wowscape one if we want. It has open channels for wowlegion you can use at any time. Barely anyone uses them. I think it would totally help on some raids. Plus when one of my sons starts crying or something, easier to say, "son's crying, I'll be right back!" then typing it.

Because we don't raid or have events as often as the tight ass guilds (Reckless/Vengence). Ughh lol, them guilds been around since Wowscape was invented and we are 2 months old. So I think you can see the difference.

My PC refuses to run Ventrillo. I tried tirelessly in the past, It's just not going to happen.

if need online ventrilo client, PM me, cuz ussually my PC runs non-stop, so this wouldnt be problem to keep vent on afro
